Simply put, a GPS navigation device is a car driving assistance device that can help users accurately locate their current location, calculate their itinerary based on a predetermined destination, and guide them to their destination through map display and voice prompts.
It consists of two important components: one is the Global Positioning System (GPS). It consists of three main parts: space satellites, ground monitoring, and user reception. There are 24 satellites in space forming a distribution network, distributed on 6 quasi synchronous orbits with a tilt angle of 55 ° and a distance of 20000 kilometers from the ground. Each orbit has 4 satellites. GPS satellites orbit the Earth every 12 hours, allowing any location on Earth to simultaneously receive signals from 7-9 satellites. There is one main control station and five monitoring stations on the ground responsible for monitoring, telemetry, tracking, and controlling satellites. They are responsible for observing each satellite and providing observation data to the main control station. After receiving the data, the control station calculates the precise position of each satellite at each moment and transmits it to the satellite through three injection stations. The satellite then transmits this data to the user's receiving end device via radio waves.
